WHAT TO DO IF YOU FIND ABANDONED, MISPLACED OR INJURED WILDLIFE
The Ark R.A.I.N. Sanctuary rescues and rehabs most exotic animals and native animals from private collections. We are NOT licensed for Native Species Rehab with animals living in the wild such as squirrels, song birds, turtles, opposums, etc. Please follow the links below for help with an animal that is from the wild in your state. Please call us toll free if a Native Species Wildlife Rehab is not on our links or not listed in your state.
Most state laws do not allow anyone to take native species out of the wild, however, everyone comes across an injured or misplaced creature at some time in their lives.
If you have found an animal from the wild that needs care, we recommend that you first contact a wildlife rehabilitator that is licensed in your state to take care of native wildlife.
